Applying for a reception class place for September 2027
If your child was born between 1st September 2022 and 31st August 2023, they will start reception class at the start of the new school year in September 2026.
The online application will open on 30 September 2026.
If any of the schools you want your child to go to is a Wigan voluntary aided (church) primary school the governors will need extra information so that they can consider your application against their faith criteria. If you do not give this information your child may be refused a place. If Twelve Apostles is one of your preferred choice you are strongly advised to complete a supplementary information form in the link above.

Twelve Apostles Transition Programme 2025-26
Open Evening Tuesday 10th November 2026 6pm in school.This is for parents and carers and not suitable for children
Open afternoon Thursday 19th November 2026 2pm for children and parents. This is an opportunity to have a tour of the school with our Year 6 children
